Throughout the Octomom saga, some of the most enlightening comments on the situation can be found at the Huffington Post. You have to check out the dialogue that’s going on there. It’s pretty interesting.

One poster called MiniMogul asked this rhetorical question today:

“Hmmm. Is Nadya Suleman the monster her parents created? I’m interested to see how the Octogramps comes off in his interview. Clearly, Nadya is a brat. Probably has been for years. But can allowing your kid to be a brat produce an extreme outcome like 14 babies-no daddy-no job-no home-no worries?? What else went on in the Suleman household? I mean, this woman is a wretched human being. How the heck does that happen? How do you build a monster from the ground up? How much responsibility do her parents bear for how she turned out? I always ask that when somebody’s child veers dramatically away from “normal”, “acceptable”, and legal behavior.

There are obviously several types of pathology going on with Nadya, narcissism and pathological lying being just two. Some of the commenters on the saga have some pretty sharp armchair diagnoses of what might be at the heart of this crazy mom’s behavior.

Octomom to Lose House March 5

Nadya the Octomom has been living with her parents for some time, and that house has gone into foreclosure. Her mom, Angela, hasn’t made payments on the mortgage for the past ten months. As of next week the house will be on the auction block. On March 5 the bank that issued the mortgage will seize ownership of the house.

Just what are Octomom’s plans? Um, well, apparently she doesn’t have any. Actually that’s probably not true. I’m sure she’s busy cashing checks from all the paid interviews she and her parents have been doing and making frantic withdrawals from Paypal from all the donations people sent to her website. That ought to be enough for a downpayment on a new home at the very least.

Reports vary about how much she has made from donations to her website. One report says she’s made $60,000. Another report says she’s collected over 1.2 million. Whatever it is, it’s probably a lot.

Octomom Has to Win Every Argument

Radaronline made a video of the Octomom squaring off in a debate against her mom. Her mom tries to make many reasonable points about how Nadya didn’t have to have all those embryos implanted inside her, and that she should have given more thought to her other six children. You can see how Nadya is a spoiled, argumentative brat who never lets her parents get a word in edgewise. No wonder her parents couldn’t get her to behave sensibly. She totally has them under her scary control. Sucks to be them.

Compare Nadya’s Face to Her Idol Angelina

Ideally when you get plastic surgery it is to gently minimize a feature you don’t like very much – like Ashley Simpson’s big fat honker of a nose, now reduced to lovely petiteness. Or it’s to maximize something that is very small – i.e. turning a flat chest into something with more curves.

But some people get addicted to plastic surgery.

Octomom Nadya Suleman appears to be a plastic surgery addict.

This is pretty sad by itself, but what’s especially lame is how she’s getting facial surgery after facial surgery to try to look like Angelina Jolie. So not only does she want to have tons of kids like Angelina, she wants to look like her, too.

People who aren’t good at spotting plastic surgery have been saying no way, Nadya looks normal.

The main concern I have about all the money people have been donating to Nadya’s site is my conviction that very little of this money will go toward her long-suffering parents or kids. She’s a plastic surgery addict, and plastic surgery addicts never stop getting surgery.

Do you really want your donation money subsiding her vanity procedures? Keep in mind that she also had breast implants put in at the age of 15. So this has been a life long process for her.

Octuplets – Who’s Your Daddy?

It seems that Nadya Suleman has drawn many unsuspecting folks within her tangled web of deceit over the years.

Apparently while she was still married to another man, she spent several years dating a guy, even going to far as to ask him to donate sperm so she could have babies via in vitro fertilization. She lied and told him she had ovarian cancer.

The guy has stepped up to the plate and asked for a DNA test, claiming that if her kids are his, he wants to help out with their care and upkeep. It’s possible that he isn’t just dad to her recent octuplets. He could be on the hook for the earlier six children she also conceived via IVF.

You have to give the guy credit for having the balls to come forward. Child support payments X 14 – what a potential nightmare he’s setting himself up for.

Funniest Octomom Cartoon You’ll Ever See

To start things off here at Octoblogger, I wanted to share the funniest cartoon about the Octomom that you’ll ever see.

If you’re not familiar with this site, Gallery of the Absurd is a hilarious blog that comments on pop culture and celebrities in a uniquely twisted way. The artist, 14, used to update it daily but doesn’t update it quite as much anymore – much to the world’s sadness. But she will usually take a few moments to post an amazing drawing about those news stories that simply won’t go away. Recently she posted this amazing look at the Octomom. Boy, does 14 get it right:
